Tryout Fee: $35 ( Free for Current Team ONE Players! )
Box Lacrosse program includes
8 box Practices

8 BOX Practice Sessions ( Practices will take place primarily on Fridays & Saturdays )

The Goodland Box Lacrosse Invitational: January 29 - 30 (Milwaukke, WI)

Box Lacrosse 101
Box Lacrosse is an electrifying version of the game we already love to play. BOX is a 5v5, high contact, fast paced shootout that has been played for over a hundred years, mainly in Canada and on many Native American Reservations and over the past 10 years has slowly made its way into mainstream lacrosse across the US. Top Professionals such as Zed Williams, Matt Rambo, Trevor Baptiste, Blaze Riorden, and many others credit their development to box lacrosse, which is responsible for the traits that we usually assign to Canadian players (one handed, good/consistent hands).

Box Lacrosse Rules & Game Format
- Game Format: 5 vs 5 including the goalie
- All players (including goalie) must use standard lacrosse sticks 40 to 46 inches in length
- Goalies use the same heads as field lacrosse
- There are three 15-minute periods
- There is 30-second shot clock during each possession
- Games ending with a tie score are decided by shootout
